From survival to freedom
In 2018, I was working two jobs and still falling behind. I was earning six figures but had nothing to show for it: over £80,000 in debt, constant stress, and no direction.
One night it all came to a head. It was my daughter's birthday, and I couldn't even afford dessert without reaching for a credit card. That was the turning point.
I started learning how money really worked and how to make it work for me. I built my first budget, made a plan, and paid off every debt. By 2021, I was free.
That experience became a calling. I shared what I learned with friends and family, and they started winning too: paying off debt, saving, and finding peace. Seeing their success made me realise something bigger. The problem wasn't people, it was access.
That's when Frugate was born: a platform built to bring financial freedom to everyone, using technology to modernise timeless money principles.
